The Comeback of Black
We are seeing black used more and more on walls, fireplaces, ceilings, and as accent pieces. The neutral color provides an elegance that just can't be matched! Here are some ways to incorporate it into your home!
WALLS
If you want to highlight certain pieces of your home, having black walls is a great way to do so, especially if your accent pieces are white. We love the Benjamin Moore collection including "Kendall Charcoal" as a wall color.
WINDOWS
If you are going for the "Chic" look, having black window frames will draw your eye in without dominating the room and being overwhelming.
ACCENTS
Whether it is towels, the soap dispenser, or pillows, by incorporating black throughout your home you can achieve a clean look that will complete a room (and have less noticeable dirt).
FIXTURES
What is your sink faucet? Most likely brass or brushed nickel. Matte black gives a modern edge to your kitchen or bathroom that will leave your guests in awe.
TILE AND COUNTERTOPS
If you have a mostly-white kitchen, black countertops or backsplash can create a timeless look and room for interchangeable accents. There are also so many different types of tile (subway tile, black tile mosaic) that you can really make the space your own!
Are you on board with this black trend? How will you incorporate it throughout your home?
