Grand Junction Nonprofit Spotlight: Colorado Discover Ability
Our featured nonprofit for this month is Colorado Discover Ability. This organization brings individuals with disabilities outside in Western Colorado who never thought they could! They work with any type of challenge the individual may have and make adaptions so they can partake in the fun.
CDA has a wide array of programs including biking, day camps, overnight trips, river rafting, and skiing programs that allow people of all ages and backgrounds to participate. They have grown their staff to four people and have hundreds of volunteers that help make these programs possible.
Colorado Discover Ability is helping individuals find their independence, increase their self-confidence, and is also educating our community about people with disabilities.
