Kid Events Going On In Grand Junction This Summer

Between the Bananas Fun Park, the Dinosaur Journey Museum and Lunch Loop Bike Park, there are plenty of fun activities to take your kids to! Here are some events going on in Grand Junction this summer that your kids are sure to love!

This event has sold out SO SIGN UP FOR THEIR CLASS IN AUGUST ASAP!! It will be hosted by Angelo's Pottery and Glass Studio from 1-3 PM TODAY. Bring your kids for a fun time of decorating a clay wand and a cauldron mug with a Harry Potter crest on it!

Give your kids the chance to feel like royalty at this event today and tomorrow. This event will be held from 9:00 to noon.

There will be 8 different seminars throughout the summer that will teach your child about weapons, grappling and sparring and board breaking! Each seminar is $20.

You child will feel like they are a part of the team whether they are on the offensive line, drumline, cheerleader or in the band! LifeWay’s 2018 VBS invites your kids to grab their megaphones, lace up their cleats, and tune up their instruments as they learn about what God has given them in His ultimate playbook. This is a free event for ages 3 (potty-trained) through just finished 6th grade.

Paint a fairy house and make a small square herb vase with a fairy on it for just $22! Your kids will have a blast using their imagination and creativity.

July 24 - Paradise Amusement Carnival

The carnival will be happening at The Mesa County Fair July 24 - 29! Rides, games, and food, what more could they want?!

head over to the Roice-Hurst Humane Society to learn about dogs and cats and how to care for them. the activities will emphasize safety, empathy and compassion.

Is anyone already thinking about school? This event will have a bounce house, balloon animals, food, crafts, and more! It will be held at Mesa Mall from 11:30-1 PM.
